 Used Gun – A very nice Australian Lithgow 1942 manufactured SMLE No1 MK 3 .303 Rifle. Matching serial numbers on receiver, bolt, bayonet boss. This is the Target Rifle version, also called a Range rifle. Fitted with a No 4 Central sight with mounting plate to the rear and a 12/1952 Heavy barrel with rear iron sight removed as per range rifles. Barrel is dark but in my opinion plenty of life left in it with very good rifling.. All metal work is excellent with nice bluing and no rust or pitting. Wood work is very good with stamp III * and 1943 readable on the butt. Price $ 1550.00
